Susana Brooks
Susana Brooks, DTCM, AP, LAc Susana Brooks is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, a Florida-licensed acupuncturist, and an NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. A valedictorian graduate of the Acupuncture and Massage College (AMC), she earned her doctorate from Five Branches University. Her holistic journey began over 18 years ago through martial arts and yoga, leading her to become a certified yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and Ayurveda Health Counselor with studies in both the U.S. and India. Originally from Peru and fluent in English and Spanish, Susana is known for her compassionate and calm demeanor. She specializes in gentle, effective, personalized treatments incorporating: TCM Modalities: Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Guasha, cupping, acupressure Tuina, e-stim, and herbal formulas. Integrative Therapies: Homeopathic acupoint injection therapy, aromatherapy, sound healing, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Reiki. Beyond her clinical practice, Susana is dedicated to education and collaborative care. While practicing in Miami, she shared an office with a functional medicine neurologist, fostering an integrated approach to patient wellness. After serving as a teacher assistant at Acupuncture and Massage College (AMC), she joined the University of Miami's Osher Center as a presenter for the Integrative Health Medicine program. In this role, she introduces medical students to the principles of TCM and Ayurveda and frequently has them shadow her in the clinic for practical insight. Susana is also passionate about community engagement, offering workshops on holistic modalities—including TCM & acupuncture, Ayurveda, and auriculotherapy —and providing tailored corporate wellness events. She remains committed to bringing wellness to the community through both clinical excellence and public education.
